项目摘要

インドにおける大乗仏説論本研究を課題とする研究では,前年度に引き続き,研究計画に沿った形で,大乗仏説論を詳細に扱った文献のテキスト校訂ならびに訳注の作業を,より詳細な形で,実施した.『思択炎論』第四章のテキスト校訂を,より綿密に行い,訳注も行った.『大乗荘厳経論』第一章に関しては,世親・安慧・無性による注釈の訳注(特に注釈)作業を行った.漢訳の『入大乗論』に関しても,そこに引用されている諸経論のチベット語訳やサンスクリット語原文も参照しつつ,テキスト読解を行った.それらの成果の一端として,第14回国際サンスクリット学会で発表を行った.ブッダの教説を十二のカテゴリーに分けたものが十二分教である.そのなかのvaipulya(方広)を,声聞乗は詳細に説かれた教説であると解釈するのだが,大乗側は,その方広は大乗を指しており,大乗は十二分教に含まれるから仏説であると主張する.本発表では,各論書に見られる方広=大乗説を取り上げ,また,その解釈中で関説される「七種大性」をもって,大乗の特徴とする論書が多いことを論じたもの.さらに,2009年末に,単著,『世親の大乗仏説論-『釈軌論』第四章を中心に-』(山喜房佛書林)を刊行した.本書は筆者の博士論文を基にしたものであり,『釈軌論』を中心にしたものであるが,本研究課題であるインドにおける大乗仏説論と密接に関連するものであるので,今回の研究成果を盛り込んだ形で刊行することができた.
