保健師が行った子ども虐待事例のケアを評価し、有効なケアと事例の変化について明らかにすることを目的とした。2006年度の予備調査の結果からケア項目を精選後、2008年度は子ども虐待の支援を行った保健師を対象に自記式調査を実施し、205例の回答を得た。その結果、子ども虐待が改善した群と保健師が「十分行った」ケアとに関連がみられた。
