本研究課題では、これまでに研究代表者が中心となり開発してきた全球エアロゾル輸送・放射モデルSPRINTARSをべ一スとして、全球エアロゾル分布予測モデルを構築し、数日先までの予測を1日1回計算して公開することを目的とした。その結果、精度の高いエアロゾル予測システムが構築され、ホームページ(http://sprintars.net/)で公開している。また、環境省と気象庁の共同ポータルサイトである「光化学オキシダント関連情報提供ホームページ」(http://www.data.kishou.go.jp/obs-env/oxidant/)からリンクが張られ、一般向けへ情報を発信している。
