「リズム」の発生とそれを基にし「かたち(パターン)」を形成する化学反応(BZ反応)があります。本課題では、BZ反応に光フィードバックを付加した系において、そのパターンの制御を行いました。また数理解析を行うためのモデルを提案し、パターンの安定性について議論しました。それらの知見をもとに、時間的・空間的に発展するパターンを用いた画像処理手法を提案し、生体視覚システムとの共通性を議論しました。
