本年度は、主に以下の研究を行った。1.差別化産業における外資規制政策自国企業と外国企業が差別化財を生産する産業で、外国企業が自国企業と国際合弁企業を形成し自国に進出するか、外国にいるままで競争を行うかという状況で、自国政府がとるべき外資規制政策に関する分析を行った。本研究では、クールノー的数量競争およびベルトラン的価格競争における最適外資規制率の比較を行っている。結果、ほとんどのケースでクールノー競争での外資規制率が、ベルトラン競争での外資規制率より緩やかになることが示された。この結果は、先行研究における結果と対照的なものとなっている。本研究成果は2007年7月海外査読誌に掲載された。2.サービス産業における立地と経済厚生ホテルやレンタカーなどのように、企業が立地した場所でしか販売を行うことができないサービス産業で、企業が対称な2地域のどちらかに立地を行う場合の均衡立地および経済厚生について分析を行った。企業が対称的2地域への立地を行う場合、企業にとって均衡立地は効率的・非効率な場合があるが、消費者および経済全体にとっては常に効率的であることが明らかになった。企業の立地が経済全体の観点から効率的であるという結果は、投資可能な2地域のどちらかに海外直接投資を行う状況においては、立地企業数を変化させるような直接投資誘致政策は経済全体の観点からは望ましくないことを示唆している。本研究成果は海外査読誌に掲載が決定し、2008年中に出版される予定である。さらに、2地域に固有の生産費用・固定費用が異なる場合の均衡立地および経済厚生についても研究を行っている。この論文についてはいくつかの学会・研究会で報告を行い、海外査読誌への投稿に向け現在改訂中である。

This year, the main research activities are as follows: 1. Foreign investment regulation policies for differentiated industries: domestic enterprises, foreign enterprises, international joint ventures, domestic and foreign enterprises, competition, and foreign investment regulation policies. This study compares the optimal foreign investment regulation rate with the quantity competition and the quality competition of the foreign investment. The results show that the foreign investment regulation rate of competition is lower than that of competition. The result of this study is that the results of this study are similar to those of previous studies. The results of this study were published in July 2007 overseas survey. 2.
