意図的にプレを生じさせつつ露光過程で変調を加えることにより、任意の空間周波数帯域での画像強調・高解像化を可能にする方法を提案し有効性を検証するとともに、「手プレの振る舞い」および「高解像化の一手段である手プレ補正の性能水準」を調べる必要性から、手プレやカメラ自体の振動を測定し手プレ補正の効果を定量的に評価するシステムを開発した。
