By researches and interviews to Okinawa immigrants to Osaka, we understood the following facts. Changes of customs in contemporary Okinawa did not occur by direct introduction of customs in mainland. The immigrants remodeled their customs, and they changed their customs into suitable form for mainland. Changes in Okinawa area happen by putting that remodeled customs into Okinawa again.
