我々は平成19年度から20年度までの2年間の研究期間を、19世紀初頭フランス美術思潮に関する、出版活動に先立つ実証的な基礎調査期間と位置づけ、平成19年度は、研究資料収集等の研究環境整備に、平成20年度はアポリネール美術評論の翻訳作業の完遂と実証的調査に主眼を置き研究を推進してきたその結果、翻訳の下訳作業は内容の整合、用語の統一等も含めてほぼ完了し、2年間の研究期間における所定の研究目的に到達することができた。この成果をもとに、現在進行中の校注作業を経て、平成22年度中のアポリネール美術評論の全訳出版という中期的目標を達成できるものと考えている。一方、もう一つの研究目的である実証研究のための基礎資料整備については、アポリネールの美術評論の翻訳・校注作業に必要な一定の成果を挙げることができたと考えている。また、フランス本国への2回にわたる渡航調査を通して本国研究者と研究方針に関する意見交換の機会を得、二カ国間研究としての体制を整えたことにより、今後日本におけるアポリネール研究を推進する上で大きな地歩を築き得たものと考える。今後はアポリネール研究に限らず、広くベル・エポック期の美術的言説を対象とした研究(平成21~23年度科学研究費補助金研究(基盤研究C)「ベル・エポック期フランスの美術評論における「新精神」の形成と展開に関する研究」(課題番号 : 215203540001、研究代表者 : 佐藤))に研究を引き継ぎつつ、調査研究結果のさらなる精度向上と出版も含めた成果公表に努めていきたい。
