Research on lossless and near-lossless coding of still images and information embedding

在本研究中，针对连续色调图像的无损和近无损编码以及信息嵌入等问题，提出了五种新的编码方法。实际上，提出了五种新的方法：(1)嵌入信息的误差扩散图像分块编码方法，(2)利用算法分块编码提高压缩比的误差扩散方法，(3)JPEG-LS无损编码中的信息嵌入方法，(4)利用可逆颜色变换对感兴趣区域进行编码，并对其背景进行近无损编码，(5)改进的可逆颜色变换降模方法。

In this research, five new methods were proposed concerning on lossless and near-lossless coding of continuous-tone images and information embedding. Actually, five new methods : (1) block coding of error-diffused images with information embedded, (2) an error diffusion method for improving compression ratio by arithmetic block coding, (3) an information embedding method in JPEG-LS lossless coding, (4) a coding method of ROI (Region Of Interest) by reversible color transform and its background by near-lossless, (5) an improved method of modulo reduction of reversible color transform, were proposed.
