Effects of the introduction of a system setting fixed rates of remuneration for comprehensive packages of hospital care based on the Diagnosis Procedure Combination (DPC) were studied for two of the surgical procedures for cataract removal and cholecystectomy, at private acute hospitals that prevention of postoperative infection, along with related clinical and economic indicators before and after the introduction of DPC-based valuation. In both cases, no adverse events due to postoperative infection or antimicrobial drug use were observed. Treatment with antimicrobials has been evolving due to the intervention of pharmacists, with a trend toward intensive treatment with cheaper first-generation cephem antibiotics as well as reduced dosages and a shift toward generic drugs. By benchmarking the status of the use of antimicrobials for the treatment of pneumonia using DPC data, the effects from the use of antimicrobials on the financial aspects of hospitals were examined. As a result, it was suggested that the trends in the use of antimicrobials have effects on the financial management of hospitals.

在私立急性医院，针对预防术后感染的白内障摘除术和胆囊切除术的两种外科手术，研究了基于诊断程序组合（DPC）的医院护理综合包的固定报酬率系统引入的效果，沿着相关的临床和经济指标。在这两种情况下，没有观察到由于术后感染或抗菌药物使用的不良事件。由于药剂师的干预，抗菌药物的治疗一直在发展，趋势是使用更便宜的第一代头孢类抗生素进行强化治疗，减少剂量并转向仿制药。通过使用DPC数据对使用抗菌药物治疗肺炎的状况进行基准测试，检查了使用抗菌药物对医院财务方面的影响。结果表明，抗菌药物的使用趋势对医院的财务管理产生了影响。
