現在、前立腺癌の治療法は多様化している。治療法を選択する際、最も重要な指標は癌の病理学的悪性度である。本研究では、新規マーカー遺伝子のプロモーター領域のメチル化が前立腺癌の病理学的悪性度を反映するかどうか検討を行なった。cDNA Microarrayより得られた新規バイオマーカー候補遺伝子のメチル化について病理組織検体を用いて解析した。しかし、有用な新規バイオマーカーを同定することはできなかった。
