末期鎌倉幕府の意志決定を行う「特権的支配層」の所領分布を鎌倉時代の古文書史料の範囲では、ほぼ完全に収集し、「特権的支配層」の連合による鎌倉幕府の列島支配の具体相を明らかにする土台を築いた。さらに越後国小泉荘の現地調査と中世史料・近世・近代絵図の分析によって「特権的支配層」の所領形成が現地の在地領主の一族結合の矛盾を引き起こす具体相を明らかにした。また、鎌倉幕府直轄領常陸国真壁荘の現地調査によって、中世前期在地領主の多様な社会的機能に基づき、領主館のあり方も多様化していたことを明らかにした。

The final decision of the Kamakura shogunate was made on the distribution of the "special ruling layer". The historical records of the Kamakura period were completely collected, and the "special ruling layer" was united. The specific phase of the Kamakura shogunate's island governance was clearly established. In this paper, the local investigation of Koizumi House in the Later States, the analysis of the historical materials of the Middle Ages, the modern times and the modern times, the formation of the "special ruling layer" and the contradiction between the local lords and the specific phases, and the development of the "special ruling layer" are discussed. In the early Middle Ages, the functions of the local lords and the diverse society in Kamakura Prefecture were investigated.
