Actions taken by Chinese local cities against economic revitalization under local corporatism

本文通过对辽宁省大连市和抚顺市的案例分析，阐明了地方政府是如何阻碍经济振兴的。结果发现，当地政府成功地吸引了外国公司。但在抚顺等其他城市，财力薄弱，难以实现经济复苏的目标。

In this research, the author clarifies how local government acted against the economic revitalization through the case study of Dalian and Fushun in Liaoning province, China. As a result, it was found that the local government succeeded in attracting foreign companies. In other cities such as Fushun, however, poor financial resources made it difficult to achieve the goal of economic recovery.
