英文摘要
In a series of three psychophysiological experiments, this project investigated the integration of sound and self motion. In a first experiment, we tested whether the two different cues for horizontal sound movement, interaural time and level differences, are processed independently or in an integrated manner in human auditory cortex. Using electroencephalography (EEG), we observed mainly independent processing of the two cues in human auditory cortex. The second experiment tested whether finger motion that elicits sound movement attenuates or influences the subsequent brain response. In a third experiment, we tested for integration of head and sound source motion.
