项目摘要

計画調書記載の図書館・文書館調査については、ドイツ研修の予定であったが、新型コロナウィルス禍のため、前年度同様、断念せざるをえなかった。その代替的研修として、一橋大学社会科学古典資料センターが所蔵する「ギールケ文庫」を活用する貴重文献調査を二度行い、M.ウェーバーによる１９０４年の作品「世襲財産論」に関する学説史上重要な作品、G.v.べロウの「世襲財産増加の問題」（１９０５）や M.ゼーリングによるウェーバー批判論文（１９１０）を閲覧するとともに、ナッサウ史関連の実証研究に役立つ貴重な図書を発見して、資料化した。新規の図書整備のため、BREPOLS社刊の「ヨーロッパ農村社会史研究シリーズ」（全１６巻）を購入して、新しい研究動向の把握に努めた。特に、第５巻(R.Congost and R.Santos編のContexts of Property in Europe. The Social Embeddedness of Property Rights in Land in Historical Perspective, 2010)は、「所有権」（したがって、世襲財産を含む）の「社会的機能様式」を比較史的に分析している点で、本研究にとっても示唆に富む。研究成果の発表としては、『ドイツ大土地所有史論ーー世襲財産問題の諸相』を、２０２３年２月、広島大学出版会から公刊することができた。研究はほぼ計画どおり進捗し、これに続く新しい地平を展望した。
