2022年度はベトナムとフィリピンの調査を実施した。ベトナムは研究分担者が12月に研究協力者とともに3つの病院を訪問し、調査依頼をおこないWEB調査を実施した。結果、2つの病院から合計350超の回答が得られたが、残念ながら残りの1病院からは回答は全くなかった。フィリピンは都市部にある5つの病院に研究倫理審査の申請を行った。しかし、病院ごとに審査システムが異なり、書類提出後の審査に時間がかかった。日本では看護師が持っていないGCPの証明書の提出を求められたり、審査を通っても許可がでても何の連絡もなかったりと、研究実施許可をスムーズに得ることができなかった。結局、看護部からは研究実施について同意を得られたが、病院の研究倫理審査手続きでGCP認証とMOUを求められた病院は倫理審査を取り下げた。COVID-19感染症対策による出入国の厳格化と航空運賃の高騰などのため、なかなか現地に赴くことができなかったが、メールのやり取りだけでは研究倫理審査手続きが進まないため、2023年3月に現地に赴き書類を提出した病院と直接交渉をおこなった。その結果、首都にある2つの病院から研究許可を得て、3月後半からWEB調査を開始した。フィリピンのデータ収集が終了すれば、インドネシア、ベトナム、フィリピン3か国のデータが揃う。2023年度前半でデータ収集が終了するため、国別データ、3か国の比較データの分析をおこない、論文化する。
