本研究の目的とするところは、周代から清代に至るまでの期間に使用された諡の贈与基準を通覧するするデータベースの作成と、諡法運用の変化を通史的に明らかにすることにある。まず第一点目のデータベースに関しては基礎資料の収集と分類とを完了した。これらには『春秋』三伝・『国語』・『戦国策』などの周代の贈与基準と贈与方法を伝える文献から、二十四史を中心とした歴史書、筆記に見られる諡法に関する記載、賀〓『諡法』・蘇洵『諡法』・清代の『皇朝諡法考』などの歴代諡法専著、『世本』・『白虎通』・『北堂書鈔』・『初学記』・『経世大典』等に載せられる諡法まで幅広い資料が含まれる。これら資料は、これまで一括して分類・分析されたことが無く、本研究による作成される予定の総合的なデータベースは、世界でも初の試みとなる。現在、調査結果のデータ入力を進めている段階である。また、第二点目の諡法の通史的分析に関しては、以下の諸点に関して資料の収集が終了し、現在、論文執筆の準備を進めている。(1)諡号『霊』の用法変遷(2)孔子の諡号の変遷(3)前漢期における諡法の変化(4)『逸周書』「諡法解」載録諡法の変遷(5)『史記正義』所載「諡法解」の異同諡法の通史的研究において究明が必要なこれらの事柄についての論文は、平成22年度より順次、研究誌に発表して行く。

The purpose of this study is to provide a general overview of the creation and application of the gift criteria during the Qing Dynasty and the Zhou Dynasty. The first point is to complete the collection and classification of basic data. This is the third part of the Spring and Autumn Annals, the National Language, the National Policy, the Zhou Dynasty's donation criteria and donation methods. The 24-year history center, the notes, the posthumous records, the Shi Ben, the Bai Hu Tong, the Bei Tang Shu Chao, the beginner's records, the Shi Dian, etc. contain the posthumous records. The data are classified, analyzed, and synthesized in this study. Now, the investigation results are in progress. The second point is related to the analysis of the general history of the title. The following points are related to the completion of the collection of data. Now, the preparation of the thesis is progressing.
