本研究では、組織マネジメントの観点から、介護保険施設における栄養ケア・マネジメント体制に焦点をあてた多職種協働システム構築に関する評価尺度の開発と妥当性の検討を行う。それにより、栄養ケア・マネジメント体制の継続的な品質改善活動に寄与しうる多職種協働の在り方について今後の方向性を検討するための基礎資料を得ることを目的とする。医療福祉分野における専門職連携教育（Inter-professional Education）ならびに専門職連携（Inter professional Work）について、日本学術会議の提言（平成23年11月）などの各種文献をもとに、高齢者ケアに携わる管理栄養士に必要な知識と技術・関係職種と連携・協働するために必要な専門的知識及び技術等について検討を行った。英米の比較した文献によると、「他専門職との差異の意識化のポイントは、自らの優れている点を差別化するのでなく、他の専門職の貢献や優れている点をポジティブに捉え、返していくことが重要である」と述べられており、栄養専門職として管理栄養士が高齢者ケアにどのように貢献できるかを検討している。組織特性の調査尺度や効果に関する和文論文では、「介護・看護を提供する組織の多様化への対応」、「病棟看護組織の機能に関する一考察」、「病棟看護組織の機能に関する一考察」など看護・介護組織に関するものが多かった。民間企業を対象とした調査では、組織風土尺度には伝統性尺度、組織環境性尺度という2 つの下位尺度があり、それらの得点の高低によって、各従業員が認知する組織風土を「伝統自由・組織活発型（イキイキ型），伝統強制・組織活発型（シブシブ型），伝統自由・組織不活発型（バラバラ型），伝統強制・組織不活発型（イヤイヤ型）に分類することができる」との報告があった。
