项目摘要

モチベーションビデオは,実践的な研究において成果をあげてきた研究である.しかしながら,競技場面における映像のみについての効果を検討した実験的研究は行われていない.そこで,研究Iでは,自己の選手の試合映像から,ビデオを作製し,映像のみを視聴させることによる心理的側面およびパフォーマンス側面への効果の検討することを目的とした.また,研究IIでは,映像によるパフォーマンス向上のメカニズムを検証することを目的とした.研究Iの被験者は大学生バドミントン選手32名であった.被験者を自己の試合映像視聴群(以下Self-modeling群)と映像視聴なし群(以下Control群)に2群に無作為割付を行い,Self-modeling群の被験者には,自己の試合映像の中から,良いと感じるプレイ映像を自己選択させ,その映像を編集して,1本のビデオを作製し,パフォーマンス実験を行う1時間前に視聴させた.心理的側面を測定するために,PCI forモチベーションビデオを実験開始前,映像視聴後(パフォーマンス実験1時間前),パフォーマンス実験直前の3回記入した.パフォーマンス実験の評価として,試合時の成功ショット率を算出した.実験の結果,心理的側面では,Self-modeling群はControl群に比べて,全ての因子において有意に向上していた。また,パフォーマンス側面でも,Self-modeling群はControl群に比べて,有意に成功ショット率が高まったことが確認された.研究IIでは,研究Iの被験者から得られた心理的側面とパフォーマンス側面のデータを用いて,媒介変数検証法を用いて行った.その結果,心理的側面が媒介変数とはなりえなかったが,映像を視聴することは,心理的側面およびパフォーマンス側面を同時に向上させている可能性が示唆された.特に,パフォーマンスの上に大きく寄与していることが明らかになった.
