近世中期における美濃派俳書について「美濃派俳書年表稿」を完成させ、この結果に基づき今年度は論文を3本発表した。1美濃派俳書の版元について-橘屋治兵衛の江戸出店野田太兵衛と江戸の広井秀峨2近世中期美濃派俳書の特徴-以哉派と再和派の俳書3三河国渥美俳人路喬追善集『夕日影』をめぐって(田原市)-美濃派による指導まず1では、近世中期、美濃派本統の分裂前後より、江戸における拠点形成によって、美濃派俳書の出版元が従来提携していた京都の俳諧書肆橘屋治兵衛だけではなく、橘屋治兵衛の江戸出店野田太兵衛や江戸の彫師広井秀峨、さらに京でも津田伝蔵や巽佐右衛門によって梓行された事象について検討を加えた。そして、これら新しい出版元との関係に、本統分裂の影響が及んだことについて論じた。次に2では、美濃派俳書の特徴的な体裁について詳細に論じた。美濃派俳書は画一的な形式をもって継承されてゆくが、近世中期、美濃派が以哉派と再和派とに分裂した後には、各派内で内題や版下書体において統一化を図る傾向が見られるようになる。版下書体については、以哉派の版下書体は丸く、再和派の版下書体はやや鋭いのが特徴である。さらに版下書体から、京の橘屋治兵衛、江戸の彫師広井秀峨、京の津田伝蔵との間の求版本の実態についても明らかにした。最後の3では、美濃派宗匠である百茶坊が三河国渥美に来訪して、『夕日影』編纂に関与したことについて論じた。『夕日影』における百茶坊の添削は、支考の俳諧理念「姿先情後」に基づく添削となっている。
