今年度は特にタイ東北部コンケンの3村を対象として集中的な調査を行った。内1村ではほぼ全世帯に対するインタビュー調査を完了し、個々の住民の間で取引される資源の村内フローを洗い出した。そして収集した調査データをGISを用いて整理し、村落の地図上に個々の世帯間の資源取引の関係が表示されるように加工した。この結果として「親しい親族(Yart-Sanit)」と呼ばれる主に血縁関係を基盤とする小集団が互助の基本的な単位となっていることを視覚的に把握することが可能となった。調査から得られた主なファインディングスは、以下の2点である。(1)1990年代以降、村内では住民組織--ある程度固定的なメンバーによって資源管理と継続的取引が為されている集団で、具体的には、村外の制度金融より低利子でメンバーに融資する「コミュニティ基金」や、共同で絹織物を生産し、仲買人との交渉を行う「主婦グループ」などが例として挙げられる--が形成されており、その組織形成の基盤として「親しい親族」が動員されている。「親しい親族」は「労働交換(Long-Khaek)」や日常的な互助を行う単位であったが、近年の市場経済の浸透に対応するため再編されつつあると考える。(2)取引費用の高さや低所得といった要因によって市場を介して十分な生活財を確保することが困難な人間集団--とりわけ土地なし農民に代表される低所得層--の生活安定化にとって、住民組織や「親しい親族」は市場外的な資源(extra-market resources)として重要な機能を持っている。したがって「親しい親族」が何人おり、具体的にどのような関係を築いているかは、生活財へのアクセサビリティと深く結びついており、関係の断絶は致命的な問題となる。今年度の研究成果は、Hochiminh National Universityで開催されたワークショップ"Development and Growth"での発表に集約されている。今後は他の調査村、他地域(ラオス中部)との比較分析を進め、この研究課題が有する発展段階を越えた一般性を描き、論文として発表する。

This year's survey focused on three villages in the northeast. In the first village, the investigation of the whole world was completed, and the resources of the village were extracted. This year's research results were developed in the context of the "Development and Growth" initiative at Hochinh National University. In the future, the comparative analysis of other research villages and other regions (middle part) will be further developed, and the research topic will be more general and more general.
