二年目の平成21年度は,前年度の成果に加えて3つの研九行よっこ.一つ目は、PBNゲートウェイ間のネットワークを、首藤らによるOverlayWeaverというDHTベースの実装を採用した.昨年度のプロトタイプ実装では、10台程度までしかスケールしない設計であったのに対し、今年度は数万台単位でのPBNゲートウェイの接続も可能としている.今後は、PBNの想定する環境に最も適したDHTアルゴリズムの選定を行なって行く予定である.二つ目は、異種ネットワークノードにより構成されるオーバレイの管理APIの整備である.前年度は単一のオーバレイの利用のみ可能であったが、今年度のAPI整備により、任意の名前を持つ任意個数のオーバレイの作成が可能となった.異種ネットワークノードは、任意の数のオーバレイに参加可能である.今後は異なるオーバレイを結合させる際、どのようにアドレスやルーティングを変更するべきかについて研究を進めて行く予定である.最後は、仮想アドレスに関してである.昨年度のプロトタイプ実装では、仮想アドレスはスタティックなアドレス空間しか利用できなかったが、本年度の実装では、任意のアドレス空間を指定し、オーバレイネットワークのアドレスとして利用可能にした.また、異なるオーバレイが結合した際に発生しうる、アドレスの衝突の回避アルゴリズムについて考案した.
