平成21年度に実施した研究の成果物としては、『美術史研究』第47冊(早稲田大学美術史学会、2009年12月)に投稿、査読の上採択された論文「江蘇省徐州市銅山県苗山漢墓墓門画像石再考」がある。これは、徐州地域の漢代画像石の代表作例である銅山県苗山漢墓墓門画像石を取り上げ、その全面的な図像解釈を通して、漢代の行政区画で言う「徐州」地域における、獣頭の天候神像という地域的な特殊な図像表現と、その来源として想定される、徐州羽山における熊身の神・鯀に対する独自の信仰について論じたものである。そもそも本研究は、漢代画像石にあらわされる図像の中で、特定の地域にのみ集中して分布する図像には、地域的な特殊な社会的状況、もしくは信仰の形態が反映されていたことを実証し、画像石を地域史研究の資料として活用することを主眼としていたわけであるが、これまでの研究が主に図像主題そのものに焦点を当てたものであったのに対し、上掲論文で行った論究は、そのような地域社会における特殊な状況が、図像表現のレベルにまで影響を及ぼしていた可能性を指摘するものである。その意味で上掲論文は、所期の研究目的を、一層深いレベルで達成し得たものと考える。地域的特殊性を考える上では、同一地域内の状況を詳細に観察することと同じく、他地域との比較の視点が絶対不可欠である。そのため今年度は、主要な画像石の出土地である河南省鄭州市・南陽市、四川省成都市・都江堰市に足を運び、フィールドワークを行った。現地では、本研究内の一つのテーマとして新たに取り上げることとした風伯・雨師図像をあらわす作例について調査を行い、詳細な観察の結果、新たに論文の主題となし得る着想を得た。

The results of research conducted in 2009 were published in "Research on Art History," Volume 47 (Art History Society of Waseda University, December 2009). Paper submitted and examined: "Reexamination of the Portrait Stone at the Tomb Gate of Han Dynasty in Miaoshan, Tongshan, Xuzhou City, Jiangsu Province." A representative example of the Han Dynasty portrait stone in Xuzhou area is the picture of the tomb gate of the Han Dynasty in Miaoshan Mountain, Tongshan Mountain. The picture of the administrative district of the Han Dynasty is said to be "Xuzhou" area. The weather and the special image performance of the area are determined. The source of the statue is determined. The bear body of the god in Xuzhou Yushan Mountain is independent of the belief. This study focuses on the distribution of images in specific regions and the special social conditions of regions, and on the reflection of religious patterns. This study focuses on the subject matter of the image, and on the possibility of special circumstances affecting the image performance and the possibility of criticism. The significance of this paper is revealed, and the research objectives are expected to be achieved. The particularity of the region is examined in detail, and the situation in the same region is examined in detail.
