Resolving structure of cosmic dark matter based on extremely high-resolution radio observations

冷暗物质（CDM）的分级聚类模型预测，一个星系大小的暗晕，总质量与银河系相当，包含数千个子结构（所谓的CDM子晕），每个子结构的质量为百万到十亿太阳质量。为了直接识别这些子结构并限制暗物质的标准模型，我们发展了一种新的方法，该方法基于使用阿尔马，TMT和其他具有极高角分辨率的大口径望远镜对引力透镜天体的射电观测。

Hierarchical clustering models of cold dark matter (CDM)predict that a galaxy-sized dark halo with total mass being comparable to the Milky Way contains thousands of substructures (so-called CDM subhalos)having each mass of million to billion solar masses. To directly identify such substructures and set limits on standard model of dark matter, we have developed the new method based on radio observation of gravitationally lensed objects using ALMA, TMT and other large-aperture telescopes with extremely high angular resolution.
