The filled skutterudite compounds had been intensively investigated and various attractive phenomena have been found. However, quite a few important members had not been investigated, partly because of the difficulty in growing single crystals. In this research, the single crystals of them have successfully grown by the flux method under high pressure, and their basic features have been investigated and clarified.
