This research had aimed at clarifying activity of the Yokohama Specie Bank of Meiji Era based on the letter which the Chunosuke Kawashima sent to head office and other branch office. He was a manager of the Lyon branch office in 1882-1899 years. and performing creation of a list of photograph and the reprint work of those letters, the activity actual condition in the European and American branch of the Yokohama Specie Bank was clarified.

本研究的目的是根据川岛忠之介发给总公司和其他分支办事处的信件，澄清明治时代横滨货币银行的活动。他是一个经理的里昂分支办事处在1882年至1899年。以及执行照片列表的创建和这些信件的重印工作，阐明了横滨货币银行欧美分支的活动实际情况。
