项目摘要

本研究は、平成20年度から平成22年度に現代日本における超高齢期の心理社会的発達を評価する尺度を作成し、アメリカやスウェーデン等の国際データ比較を通して、日本における歴史的、文化的、社会的背景に即した、超高齢期の多文化生涯教育モデルの構築を目的としている。平成21年度には、本研究課題の海外研究協力者であるSteven H.Zarit教授(ペンシルベニア州立大学大学院・人間発達・家族研究専攻長)を招聘して名古屋市高年大学で国際講演会シリーズを行った。これは健康な高齢者に対する多文化生涯教育の介入研究でもあり、講演会前後に質問紙調査を行い、多文化生涯教育の評価を行うとともに、高齢者の心理社会的発達、文化アイデンティティ、世代間関係の変容を測定した。また、日本心理学会第73回大会でワークショップを企画して、研究分担者の梶田正巳(椙山女学園大学)、海外研究協力者のSteven H.Zarit教授(ペンシルベニア州立大学大学院・人間発達・家族研究専攻長)のほかに、日本国内の著名な老年心理学、生涯発達心理学研究者も招いて、「心理社会的発達に基づく超高齢期の多文化生涯教育に関する国際比較」を開催し、アメリカ合衆国、スウェーデン、日本の視点から検討した。さらに、ポスター発表ではKazumi Hoshino, Steven H.Zarit, & Makoto Nakayama(2009)において、スウェーデンで開発されたGerotranscendence Scale Type2の日本語版を開発し、超高齢期の心理社会的発達を測定する信頼性、妥当性を有する尺度に関する発表を行った。アメリカ老年学会第62回学術総会では、Kazumi Hoshino, Steven H.Zarit, & Makoto Nakayama(2009)が、超高齢期の心理社会的発達の予測因を明らかにした。海外の秀逸な多文化生涯教育として、アメリカ合衆国で日系アメリカ人高齢者支援センターを視察し、プログラム・ディレクター等にインタビューを行い論文にまとめた。平成22年度においては多民族高齢者における多文化生涯教育モデルを比較しつつ、日本に適した多文化生涯教育モデルの構築を最終目標としている。

This study aims to establish criteria for evaluating the development of psychosocial education in modern Japan during the period from 2000 to 2002, and to compare international education with Japan's historical, cultural, and social backgrounds, i.e., the construction of multicultural career education in the period from 2000 to 2002. Professor Steven H.Zarit (Director of Human Development and Family Studies, Graduate School of Nagoya State University), who is an overseas research collaborator for this research project, was invited to attend the International Lecture Conference of Nagoya City Sensei University in 2011.
