Issues pertaining to the training and professional development of clinical psychologists in Japan

Professional development of clinical psychologists, methods of practicum training in graduate school, methodology of clinical supervision, training needs of practicing clinical psychologists, supervisees' experiences in supervision, as well as professional identity of psychologists were investigated via multiple research methods including quantitative, qualitative, case study, and theoretical research methods. Implications for training of Japanese clinical psychologists in and beyond graduate school were discussed.
