We have synthesized some new macrocyclic metal complexes, which have been applied for the studies on metal-mediated dehalogenation of arly halides. In the course of this study, we have developed a new photochemical system for debromination of aryl bromides mediated by nickel(II) complexes with macrocyclic ligands.
