Periventricular leukomalacia is a lesion of oligodendrocyte in very low birth weight. Differentiating after having initialized cell line of a rat brain oligodendrocyte, we burdened them various kinds of cytokine. Combinations of cytokines decreased viable cell. Cytokines delayed the differentiation of the cells. We measured oxidative stress produced in a cell by load. In particular, hydrogen peroxides increased in dose dependence with IL-6 load. The production of a hydrogen peroxide accepted an earlier timing when we put cytokine together.
