We performed functional analysis of LOC387715 gene using mouse retina and cultured retinal pigment epithelium cells. We examined the relationship between choroidal neovascularization (CNV) and vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF) that is produced in wet type AMD. About relations with LOC387715 gene, enough results are not provided about signal transmission system, but we will follow it in future and is going to clarify it about this condition.
