An Anthropological Research of the Yangban in the Seoul Metropolitan Region, Korea and Their Cultural Dynamics

本研究以首都圈出身的士大夫家族为例，阐明了自彝代以来，阳板的威望是如何形成的。这个家族建立威望的条件是一致的：血缘、成功和知识。结论是，无论社会制度如何变化，完成这三个要求一直是案例研究家庭建立其声望的基本模式。

This research clarified how the prestige of yangban has been established since Yi Dynasty Era, verifying a case of scholar-bureaucrat family in their traditional home place in Seoul Metropolitan Region. The requirements for this family to establish their prestige has been consistent: consanguinity, success and knowledge. It is concluded that to complete the three requirements has been the fundamental model of the case-studied family to establish their prestige regardless of how the social institutions might shift.
