This study aims to create an environmental coordination space in architectural exterior using moss. Results are as below : 1) Mosses on artificial exterior materials were surveyed. The attachment and growing forms were grouped into about 20 types and 10 typical patterns were extracted. 2) The heat and water balance of moss were measured by outdoor experiment using 3 type mock-ups. 3) The two-stage semantic differential method using human imagination was proposed. Moss images in traditional and modern landscapes were extracted using the method.

本研究旨在利用苔藓营造建筑外部的环境协调空间。主要研究结果如下：1）对人造外墙材料上的藓类植物进行了调查。将其附着和生长类型归纳为20余种，提取出10种典型模式。2)通过室外试验，采用3种不同的模型，测定了苔藓的热量平衡和水分平衡。3)提出了利用人类想象力的两阶段语义区分方法。利用该方法提取了传统和现代景观中的苔藓图像。
