We explored gene-expression profiling to compare EBV-positive diffuse large B-cell lymphoma (DLBCL) (synonyms: age-related EBV+LPD) with EBV-negative DLBCL. In age-related EBV+LPD, NOD-like receptor and JAK-STAT signaling pathway was showed to be augmented, suggesting that age-related EBV+LPD was characterized by alternation of immune and inflammatory responses.
