Development of a network image processing system with encryption functions

We proposed a novel method for designing lifting wavelet filters which adapt to signal and image processing needs. In applications, we developed a speaker identification system and a content-based image retrieval system (CBIR) using our adaptive filters. In the speaker identification, we proposed to design the lifting wavelet filters so as to extract the personal features efficiently. In the CBIR, we develop an image retrieval system based on wavelet transforms and construct a community based feature database.
