Bruno Taut was a German architect, and he introduced the Japanese culture in his books worldwide. People stay living in his renovated buildings for about 80 years. In this study, his works in Germany were surveyed especially focusing their renovation. Accordingly, his buildings are able to be lived comfortably even now, because the levels of thickness of the walls and the floors, height of the ceilings and width of corridors were enough. Their building equipments were varied to be suitable to the times.

布鲁诺·陶特是一位德国建筑师，他在他的书中向世界介绍了日本文化。人们住在他翻新的建筑物里大约80年。本研究以他在德国的作品为研究对象，重点考察了他在德国的作品的创新性。因此，他的建筑物能够舒适地生活，即使是现在，因为墙壁和地板的厚度，天花板的高度和走廊的宽度都足够了。他们的建筑设备多种多样，以适应时代。
