Developments of the 3-D numerical model and the simplified model of the eruption cloud dynamics

在火山爆发时，火山灰和气体的混合物从火山口喷射到大气中。在本研究中，我建立了喷发云动力学的三维数值模型，并估计了爆炸强度与柱高和柱坍塌条件的关系。在三维模拟结果的基础上，提出了一个简化的预测柱高和柱倒塌情况的模型。

During explosive volcanic eruptions, a mixture of volcanic ash and gases is ejected from the volcanic vent into the atmosphere. In this study, I have developed a 3-D numerical model of the eruption cloud dynamics and estimated the relationship between the explosive intensity and the column height and the column collapse condition. On the basis of the 3-D simulation results, I have suggested a simplified model which predicts the column height and the column collapse condition.
