Combination of biodegenerable nanofiber and murine bone marrow stromal cells (BMSCs) could successfully induce obvious ectopic bone formation.We also confirmed that statin-releaseing nanofiber enhanced new bone formation in comparison to nanofiber without statin.These results demonstrated that this material could be applied to reconstruction of large size bone defect in future.
