A study of nursing intervention to family during early stage of NICU hospitalization

本研究目的在探讨新生儿重症监护病房住院初期，家属与医护人员之间的沟通工具，以协助护理人员顺利支援家属。对122名护理人员进行了家庭护理现状问卷调查，并制作了“家庭护理路径”护理图表。对36名母亲和32名父亲回答了另一份关于父母参与NICU早期婴儿护理的问卷。我访问了韩国和美国的NICU，观察家庭护理实践。因此，开发了信息工具（NICU父母小册子）。

The purpose of this study is to make an informational tool between family and medical staff during the early stage of the NICU hospitalization in order for nurses to support family smoothly. 122 nurses answered a questionnaire concerning a present situation of family care and nursing chart like "family care path". 36mothers and 32 fathers answered the other questionnaire concerning parents' participation of the infant care at the early stage of the NICU hospitalization. And I visited NICUs in South Korea and the United States to observe family care practice. Therefore, the informational tool (the pamphlet for NICU parents) was developed.
