Development of curve type handrail for elderly or handicappedperson, and the analysis of the effectiveness

直型扶手一般安装在卫生间或楼梯上。在本研究中，曲线型扶手，即圆形的一个洗手间和螺旋的楼梯。并阐明了曲线型扶手的有效性。曲线型扶手，便于抓握，使用方便。这意味着圆形和螺旋型扶手是有效的老年人或残疾人。

In general, the straight type handrail has been installed on restrooms or stairs. In this study, curve type handrails which are circular one for restrooms and spiral one for stairs were developed. And both the effectiveness of curve type handrails was clarified. Curve type handrail is easy to grasp that and useful to use. That means circular and spiral type handrails are effective for elderly or handicapped person.
