This study investigates the Japanese language on the Internet and quantitatively identifies the features of multiple genres of online Japanese in comparison with spoken and written Japanese. It further explores interactional behaviours of Japanese speakers online, qualitatively focusing on politeness, impoliteness, and humour triggered by misconversions, and mobile phone novels from linguistic anthropological perspectives. This research hence contributes to expanding the field of sociolinguistics to the digital arena both nationally and internationally.

本研究调查了网络上的日语，并与日语口语和书面语进行了比较，定量地确定了网络日语的多种体裁的特征。本研究从语言人类学的角度探讨了日语使用者在网络上的互动行为，着重从礼貌、不礼貌和由错误转换引发的幽默以及移动的手机小说等方面进行了定性分析。因此，这项研究有助于扩大社会语言学领域的数字竞技场在国内和国际。
