This study developed a program for inversion analysis of advection -dispersion equations and the method for obtaining molecular diffusion coefficient and Knudsen diffusion coefficient with tortuosity and dispersivity in soil gas. A simulator for the migration of chemical components in the soil gas was evaluated by comparisons between the experimental results with tank, which was filled with dry soils, air and carbon dioxide, and the results of the simulation. As a result, it was verified that the results of simulation were consistent with the experimental results. Finally this study developed the method for investigating the source of mineral oil by using results of researches of gas components in the gas of soil.
