英文摘要
After brain injury, an intrinsic ability to recover brain function, particularly for executing motor behaviors, is quite limited. Understanding the neural mechanism of motor recovery may facilitate development of therapeutics or rehabilitation. In this study, we performed the functional brain imaging in stroke patients and in an animal model of motor dysfunction-recovery, and identified several brain regions which showed functional changes after injury. These findings may shed light on a therapeutic model of motor recovery.
