A study on vulva cleaning during labor from Evidence-Based Nursing -Examination of the effect of using tap water-

本研究的目的是了解目前实施自来水外阴清洁的医院的现状，探讨理想的外阴清洁方式。在他们的同意下，对五个设施(三个在日本，两个在英国)进行了调查。因此，他们建议使用自来水清洗外阴对母亲和孩子都是安全的，是一种基于证据的可取方法。通过将这些结果与我之前的研究联系起来，出版了一本小册子，并将其发送到日本约900家妇产科医院。这项研究已在互联网上介绍，建议采用自来水清洗外阴。

The purpose of this study is to identify present situation of the hospitals which practice vulva cleaning during labor with tap water, and to consider the ideal way of vulva cleaning. Investigations were conducted in five facilities (three in Japan and two in UK) with their consent. As a result, they suggest that vulva cleaning using tap water is safe for both mother and child and is a desirable method based on evidence. By connecting these results and my previous studies, a pamphlet was published and sent to about 900 maternity hospitals in Japan. This study has been introduced on the Internet to recommend adopting vulva cleaning with tap water.
