今年度の研究は大きく2つの軸にそって行われた。第1の軸は、2010年5月までのメキシコ経済学研究博士課程研究所(CIDE)におけて在外研究期間中に行われた資料収集およびそれに基づく論文の執筆である。CIDE・リオス・フィゲロア教授の指導の下、理論の精緻化およびデータセットの構築を行った。特に1990年代のメキシコに重点をおいて資料を収集し、現在はデータの分析を行っている。来年度中の公表を予定している。これと並行して、本年度の研究の第2の軸は、民主主義に移行したラテンアメリカを含む世界各国において、選挙が法にのっとって平和裏に行われる条件と、選挙が逆に紛争の火種となる原因を統計的に探る研究である。分析結果は国内外の学会で発表し、現在は投稿準備中である。

This year's research is a big one. The 1st axis was completed in May 2010. The Institute for Doctoral Studies in Economics (CIDE) conducted research on data collection during the external research period. Under the guidance of Professor CIDE, the refinement of theory and the construction of theory are carried out.
