Comparative research project on values, trust, participation and democracy in Japan

本项目采用面对面访谈的方式，以单小组调查的形式进行了三次主要的比较调查（多次采访同一受访者）。这些调查分别是WVS 2010（世界价值观调查）、ABS 3（亚洲晴雨表调查）和CSES 4（选举制度比较研究）。为了加强数据集的优势，我们在面板中加入了社交网络调查。该小组（每年一波，为期四年）涵盖日本的价值观、生活方式、社会/机构信任、社会网络、社会/政治参与以及对民主的态度。

This project conducted three major comparative surveys as a single panel survey (in which the same respondents are repeatedly interviewed), using face-to-face interviews. The surveys are, the WVS 2010 (World Values Survey), the ABS 3 (Asian Barometer Survey), and the CSES 4 (Comparative Study of Electoral Systems). In order to strengthen the advantage of the dataset, we added a social network survey to the panel. The panel (wave per year for four years) covers Japanese values, lifestyles, social/institutional trust, social networks, social/political participation, and attitudes toward democracy.
