本研究以≪Katari≫为研究对象，考察了≪Katari≫是如何在哲学、政治经济思想、文学、建筑、手工艺、美术戏剧等领域产生和消费的，它是1890年S至1950年S期间日本知识分子和艺术家的基础。≪Katari≫指的是常见的基本虚构。它们的产生是为了填补现代化摧毁了传统生计后出现的空缺。这项研究揭示了通过自我产生的错觉维持自我的结构。

The subject of this research is the≪Katari≫which underlay the intellectuals and artists in Japan from 1890's to1950's. We examined how the≪Katari≫was produced and consumed in the fields such as philosophy, political and economic thoughts, literature, architecture, crafts, fine and dramatic arts and so on. The≪Katari≫means the common fundamental fictions. They were created in order to fill the vacancy, which arose after the modernization had destroyed the traditional livelihood. This research revealed the structure of sustaining oneself by self-produced illusion.
