GIS Analysis of the Surveying Illustrated Maps made in Late Period of the Early Modern Times in Japan

本研究旨在厘清日本近现代后期的测绘图件的测量方法、特征和精度，并建立利用这些图件进行GIS分析的方法。从而明确了德岛氏族、金泽氏族和鸟取氏族所绘制的覆盖整个封建氏族领土的测绘地图是采用个人技术绘制的。此外，关于近现代后期制作的城堡城镇图解地图，人们认识到测量精度得到了提高。这就是为什么我们判断这些测量图解地图已被证明是适合GIS分析的旧地图。

The purpose of this study is to clarify the methods of survey , the features and the precision of the surveying illustrated maps made in the late period of the early modern times in Japan, and is also to establish the method of GIS analysis using those maps. As a result, we made clear that the surveyed maps which covered the whole territory of feudal clan was made by individual technique in Tokushima clan, Kanazawa clan, and Tottori clan. In addition, about the illustrated maps of castle towns made late inthe early modern times, it was recognized that surveying precision improved . That is why we judged these surveying illustrated maps to have been proved to be old maps suitable for GIS analysis.
