The Influence of Social Prejudice on Low Reporting Rates of the Crime Victims.

本研究是关于犯罪受害者的社会偏见对不报警决策的影响。一般来说，人们认为严重犯罪的受害者应该向警方报告他们的经历。但是，人们通常不知道向警方报案和为犯罪受害者寻求帮助的困难。建议许多人认识到，对犯罪受害者的支持系统是不够的，更需要的是。我们需要讨论如何了解犯罪受害者的真实信息，以及如何传播有效求助的心理教育。

This study is about social prejudice for crime victims that have influence on decision making of not to report to the police. Generally, people imagine that victims of severe crime are supposed to report what they experienced to the police. But, it is commonly unknown the difficulties of reporting to the police and asking for help for the crime victims. It is suggested that many people recognize that support system for crime victims is insufficient and is needed more. We need to discuss how we know the true information about the crime victims, and how we spread the psychological education about the effective help-seeking.
