The development of new endovascular therapy for aortic dissection with cylindrical balloon catheter

为了开发圆柱形球囊导管作为一种新型的主动脉夹层治疗装置，制作了原型模型，但目前难以应用于实验研究。我们现在正在讨论对这个原型模型的改进。同时，为了将该装置应用于主动脉夹层，我们进行了建立猪主动脉夹层模型的实验。用腔内方法成功地建立了猪主动脉夹层模型，并与组织病理学结果进行了对比分析。

To develop the cylindrical balloon catheter as a new therapeutic device for aortic dissection, prototype model was made, however it is now difficult to apply in experimental study. We are now discussing the improvement of this prototype model. Simultaneously, to apply this device for aortic dissection, we performed the experiment to develop a model of an aortic dissection in swine. The aortic dissection was successfully created in swine with endovascular methods, confirmed with contrast enhanced coan-beam computed tomography and correlated with histopathological observation.
